Manjeet Cross is a Glaswegian born and bred in Glasgow and proud to be Scottish/Asian. I have many years of experience working in the Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing community, as well as various ethnic minority communities.

I consider my role to be a bridge between the two communities, ensuring Deaf people have access to information and resources.  I’m also a tutor teaching British Sign Language, Deaf Awareness and Baby Signs. I have completed a six-month internship with Historic Environment Scotland (HES) assisting with the production of their BSL plan.

I have always been passionate about Scottish history and have learned a lot over the years through reading books, watching programmes and visiting historical sites.
